Course fees may be paid by credit card, personal or bank cheque, Money Order, or electronic transfer of funds. Where a 'payment plan' has been offered, payments must be received by I.C.S.T.R. (QLD) on or before the due dates in order for the student to continue in the program. (See below.) For costs of the next available course, please contact us or see our website. Students can register and pay for the Introductory Module only, or the full course, depending on their particular preference. Where application is made more than four weeks prior to commencement date, a Securing Deposit will be accepted. A form for this purpose is included in the application package. The balance of the appropriate fee must be received by the school before the start of the course.
PAYMENT OPTIONS (General) In an attempt to make fee payment more convenient, I.C.S.T.R. (QLD) offers its students the following options: Full fee paid on or before the closing date on the Application/Registration form: By special arrangement with the school, this may be paid in one lump sum or as many payments as is convenient for you. Provided the full amount is received by the closing date, the 'cash price' saving will apply. Deposit & Payments: Where the deposit and payment option is chosen, these amounts may also be paid in one lump sum, or as many payments as is convenient for you, provided the full amount/s are received on or prior to the closing date and/or due date as shown on the Application/Registration form and the 'Fee Schedule' respectively. (These forms are included in the Application/Registration package.) If you elect to take advantage of our payment plan, you would pay the deposit (covers module ONE fees), followed with one final, or three equal payments, spread over the remaining time of the course presentation.
TAX DEDUCTIONS Students are advised that course fees may be tax deductible under the 'self education', Section 8 - 1 of the Australian Income Tax Assessment Act, for people working in related industries. Other types of tax deduction may be available for people operating other businesses. You should check with your accountant.
AN INVESTMENT IN YOUR FUTURE Our course fees and related costs are a business investment. The I.C.S.T.R. (QLD) P.S.H. Practitioner Training Program is designed specifically as a vocational training program. Our aim is to teach you what is necessary to become gainfully employed in a new and rewarding career. Please note that all fees are subject to and (unless otherwise stated) include 10% GST.
REFUNDS In the event of a student not wanting to continue with the course, a pro-rata refund of fees paid will be made. This applies only to modules that have been paid for and not commenced – no refund is paid for ‘part’ of any module. The appropriate fees for each module are clearly detailed on our Fee Schedule form that is sent to every applicant.
