INFORMATION FOR PROSPECTIVE CLIENTS |

The information on this page is for people who are struggling with subconsciously-based problems and seeking help to resolve them. How do I know if my problem is based in the subconscious? If you have feelings, responses or behaviours, that you have been unable to change with conscious effort and will-power, or other kinds of professional help, chances are these things are being driven by something at a subconscious level. The same applies to symptoms (often of a physical nature) that have eluded the usual medical procedures carried out by your doctor or other 'physical practitioner'. If this is the case, we could say that you have a conscious level problem, with a subconscious level cause. That is - you are well aware of the "problem" - the symptoms - and unaware of the underlying causes. Such problems are rarely resolved permanently using conscious level effort or help, because we cannot really be aware of the causes at that outer level of our awareness. Many people of course, believe they do know the causes (or can find out), and proceed accordingly - often spending months or even years in some kind of therapy, only to continue having their problems. If you think you know what the causes of your problems are, then ask yourself this question: "If I really know the causes, why can't I change them?" The truth is, we cannot really know (consciously), what goes on in our subconscious, or inner self. It really is very simple: if the problem is being caused in the subconscious, then it has to be changed in the subconscious. The 'cause' is a feeling The subconscious part of us remembers and operates from feelings, not situations or 'things that have happened'. When a person is unable to change unwanted feelings, responses or behaviours with will-power, conscious effort or ordinary medical or psychological procedures, it is usually an indication that those symptoms result from what we might call, negative subconscious emotion. We are not aware of these feelings at the outer, conscious level. We are, however, very aware of the problems they cause. You actually have the answers within What you may not know is that such problems can usually be resolved quite quickly, easily and permanently, with the appropriate help. If there is a part of you that can cause discomfort, ill-health, unhappiness, unwanted habits and so many other things that spoil your day-to-day health and wellbeing, that part obviously knows why and how these things are being caused. More importantly, it therefore follows that the same part knows what is needed to change those causes. This is where appropriate subconscious-level help is indispensable. Most people don't realise that they actually have the answers within. It's just that they don't know they have the answers, nor how to activate them. (This is something we need help with.) Our subconscious & privacy Our subconscious is a very 'private' part of us. It will not divulge its 'secrets' to our own conscious awareness, or to any other person. In order to make true and permanent change to problems based in the subconscious, it needs to be done within the privacy and seclusion of that special part of us. Changes have to be carried out within the privacy of the 'inner mind' and neither therapist nor client need to know the details or the causes in order to resolve the problems. In fact, in almost every case, the less we know consciously, the quicker and better the changes are made. Change the causes and the symptoms disappear There are many different psychological therapies that claim to bring permanent results, but P.S.H. is specifically designed to do this. It is designed to help clients deal with the causes of their problems, rather than merely the outer symptoms. It utilises the only part of the person's inner mind that really knows how the problems are being caused, and how to resolve them. It is very important to realise that P.S.H. does not do the changing - it is simply the procedure we use to help clients mobilise their own ability to change. What kinds of problems can be helped with P.S.H.? The range of problems so often based in the subconscious and readily helped with P.S.H. is quite extensive, because almost any problem can be caused or made worse by the way we respond to it unconsciously. With physical and medical causes ruled out, P.S.H. has helped many thousands of people permanently resolve problems such as: |

(The symptoms listed above represent a small sample only.) What is the subconscious mind? Our subconscious or 'inner' mind is that more intuitive, creative part of us that holds the key to all of our life experiences. It is the part that is in control of all our emotional feelings, our creative imagination, our ability to meditate and dream. It is the part that allows us to walk down the street, dance, or drive a car safely, while our conscious mind is miles away and thinking about something entirely different. It is a part of our 'inner self' that is in charge of our automatic responses, our ability to heal, our ability to sing in tune, and our ability to experience love, happiness, fear and depression, etc. The automatic nature of our subconscious The subconscious is neither good nor bad - it simply is. It takes care of us and gives us the ability to be 'human'. This means being sad and unhealthy, as well as happy and healthy. We don't judge, analyse and 'weigh-up the pros and cons' at this inner level of our awareness, as we do at the outer, 'conscious' level. It's as though we operate on 'auto pilot' at this inner level. Once we have learned a 'habit', or particular way of doing something (or reacting to something), we tend to react in that way from then, on. It is so often these automatic reactions and responses that we need to change, in order to re-claim our happiness, health and wellbeing. Our subconscious never tries to harm us - it simply does (very efficiently) what it has been taught to do. How many sessions of P.S.H. would I need? Everyone is different and responds in their own particular way, and some people change quicker than others. For most, the process of subconscious emotional healing is an ongoing process and continues for some time after therapy is completed. Most people require somewhere between 1 and 3 sessions of help to start the process of subconscious healing and change.
